MYO Mini Cheeseburger! Easy. Healthy. Not a sandwich AND a total hit with the kids. Mince = protein to help keep them fuller for longer, and this is a fun way to mix things up. Make, freeze, pack. Simple!


Ingredients:

  • 500g mince
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 carrot, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 bread crusts blitzed into breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbs sauce - I used soy sauce but tomato, BBQ, sweet chilli are all fine

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients into a large bowl and mix
  2. Roll into balls, then flatten slightly
  3. Put into air fryer basket
  4. Cook on 180 degrees, 12 minutes
  5. Add to a dinner roll along with a slice of cheese and sauce
  6. Freeze the leftover patties for future lunches
